The original swotl was great.

Hope they make the swotl2 the way it recalls all the all exciting variety of features of swotl1.
V1 , V2 (possibility to S&D) air-to-air bombs, vertical fired rockets (Komet) - and the planes themseves. Famous b17 with all positions u can take (pilot, gunners, bomber). Undestroyable p47d. Swift p51d.The Jet one the shooting star. ME262 shwalbe!. ME163Komet 7minute plane, glider the rest of time
Gotha the mighty 4 x 30 mm cannon flying wing!

Ehh. that's only the 30% of SWOLT I mentioned.
I wish they caould remake it the way it used to be with no change but gfx and the engine. If they could, another commercial succes is at hand

BTW: Richars's swotl page rocks

Just called the Lucas company store. They don't sell air combat classics of SWOTL anymore. Any more Ideas? Also, I am looking for a version that will run on a WIN 98/Win XP platform. Thanks.

This is truly an amazing site. About this cool game. I recently, kind of, re-discovered swotl (and the other games of the air combat classics), and I was sort of excited that I finally found them again.

I recall, when I was like 6-7 years, playing BOB and SWOTL, then we moved, and the disks got lost, but yesterday I found them again, and they still worked, after some 8-10 years in a dark, dusty box.

BTW, does anybody know how to edit the graphics of the planes, so I can create my own aircraft. I so, what tools do I need.

THX in advance.

I played this game for the first time in 1997 and enjoyed the hell out of it. I would play this game when I got home from school untill the we hours of the night, some times even falling asleep at the stick. Hope to see a sequel with some great gfx and my online option. Keep on gunin, for ones that can.

I still think SWotL is the best flight sim ever made, even after all these years, and so many also-rans. I've got a copy of the original SWotL and copies of all the add-ons on 5" floppies, and no 5" disk drive... Does anyone have files that I could download? I've got to play it again before version II hits the streets!

Thanks,
Peter
