To increase the damage threshold and reliability of the B-17
engines in SWOTL, try the following Debug script.  FIRST,
back up your B17 files with the COPY command to something
like this:
    >COPY \SWOTL\AC\B17*.SPC *.ORI

Now try the Debug script like this:
    >DEBUG \SWOTL\AC\B17F.SPC
    -E 117 B0
    -E 119 CC
    -W
    -Q
And repeat on the B17G.SPC file.

This will allow your engines to take more punishment and
higher oil and manifold temps.  A few of us feel that the
B17 engines were just too "weak", since once you loose one
you can't get home, yet "real" `17s and it home on less that
4 engines regularly.  If you like these new settings, copy
the 2 new B17*.SPC files to B17*.EXP incase you want to
change back to the "original" settings sometime (like to
shoot down some B17s...).  Now you can alter between the two
by copying either the .EXP or the .ORI files over the .SPC
file.  Of course, the easiest way to do this is with Anthony
Shimizu's "SW MANAGER".  If you don't have this utility, get
it!
